BOX Design and Build (also known as Box) is an Auckland-based architecture design and home building company that was founded in November 2011 by Dan Heyworth, Tim Dorrington, Nat Jakich and Nat Holloway. The company aesthetic is inspired by mid-century modernism.

History
The Box system of prefabricated elements and modular design allows for optimization of the building timeframe and cost calculation. The company became known for homes that responded to the environment and received media attention across several news platforms and architectural photography sites.
Box has received multiple awards including the Highly Commended Award for New Zealand Kitchens at 2017 Trends International Design Awards, 2017 NZ Wood Resene Timber Design Awards, the 2016 TIDA New Zealand Architect-designed Renovation, and 2016 TIDA New Zealand Architect-designed New Home.
BOX Design and Build was also awarded the NZIA Multi-unit Housing Award at 2016 Nelson-Marlborough Architecture Awards, and the company's interior designer Sam Elliot, won the Highly Commended Award at the 2015 Trends International Design Awards for New Zealand Kitchens and she was also a finalist in the 2015 NZ House & Garden Interior of the Year Award.
